  3. Exploring New Avenues: Interestingly, a significant portion of AI buyers, 55%, have ventured into the world of shadow IT. They're willing to circumvent established IT and InfoSec vetting processes, especially when dealing with intricate AI-powered solutions that handle sensitive data. While this agility can offer short-term benefits, it may pose significant future business risks.

Furthermore, buyers now view AI as foundational to their business strategies. The G2 Software Buyer Behavior Report for 2023 underscores this shift in mindset, revealing that 84% of AI buyers trust or trust strongly the reliability and accuracy of AI-powered solutions. Additionally, a staggering 88% insist on having AI functionality in their future software purchases. This robust endorsement of AI signifies that buyers are not just recognizing its importance but also trusting it to deliver tangible results.
